Andrea Nadler joined Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum in 2019, bringing both professional expertise and a deep sense of compassion to her work. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science and Funeral Service from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2012 and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in both Missouri and Illinois.

In 2020, Andrea achieved the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP)—the highest voluntary professional credential in the funeral service industry—demonstrating her commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.

At Bellefontaine, Andrea is dedicated to creating a serene and welcoming environment for families and visitors. She finds the most meaningful part of her work to be building genuine connections with those the cemetery serves. In addition to her daily responsibilities, she leads the Aftercare Program, providing ongoing support and compassion to families beyond their time of immediate need.

Andrea enjoys exploring the cemetery’s history and learning the stories of those laid to rest at Bellefontaine. These experiences deepen her connection to the community and to the people who have shaped it over time, and they inspire her commitment to honoring and preserving the cemetery’s legacy for future generations.
