ANDREW CLUBB

Horticulture Supervisor

Andy serves as the Horticulture Supervisor at Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum, a role he has held since 2023. He oversees the planning and execution of horticultural projects throughout the grounds—from vibrant seasonal plantings to long-range conservation efforts. Andy brings a deeply personal connection to this work as a family member of someone memorialized at Bellefontaine. This connection fuels his dedication to preserving the cemetery’s beauty and tranquility in honor of those laid to rest.

A St. Louis native, Andy’s passion for natural landscapes and ecological stewardship began early. His career includes impactful work with organizations such as Open Space STL, Green City Coalition, and AmeriCorps St. Louis, where he led and supported conservation initiatives throughout the city, state, and region. His professional ethos centers on collaboration, community service, and environmental care.

Andy finds deep resonance in Bellefontaine’s mission to preserve history, culture, and nature. One of his favorite places on the grounds is Evergreen Hill, where he enjoys listening to birdsong and imagining the historic carriages that once entered through the Humboldt Gate.
