Customer Relations Administrator
Carrie Finkes joined Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum in June 2026 as Customer Relations Administrator. She supports the Vice Presidents of Customer Relations as they guide families through final arrangements, helping ensure every detail is handled with compassion, care, and accuracy.
Carrie first discovered Bellefontaine during a trolley tour with a friend and was immediately drawn to its beauty, history, and sense of place. Since joining the team, she has enjoyed learning about the cemetery's rich heritage, the families it serves, and its important role in the St. Louis community.
Before coming to Bellefontaine, Carrie worked in healthcare and animal care, where she developed a strong commitment to empathy, attention to detail, and exceptional service. She believes that accurate recordkeeping helps preserve family histories for generations to come.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys knitting, needlework, and other fiber arts. She is also a dedicated St. Jude Hero who fundraises for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and completed her first half marathon in support of its mission. Her favorite spot at Bellefontaine is Cascade Lake, where she enjoys watching the Great Blue Heron and the squirrels chasing one another across the grounds like tiny Parkour competitors.
