Demetrius Bryant has been a cornerstone of the Bellefontaine Cemetery family since 1995. Born and raised in St. Louis, he began his career here as a Grounds Crew Member and later expanded his skill set by becoming a mechanic. Today, he holds the role of Foreman, where his responsibilities include supervising the Grounds Crew and partnering closely with the Sales Team to ensure each burial is executed with dignity, precision, and care.

Beyond overseeing daily operations, Demetrius is deeply involved in the maintenance and preservation of monumentation throughout the grounds. His work helps uphold Bellefontaine’s historic character and tranquil ambiance. He plays an active role during services, offering support to families at one of their most vulnerable moments.

For Demetrius, this role is more than a job — it’s a calling. He takes great pride in forging personal connections with families and visitors, and in helping maintain the serene, timeless atmosphere that defines Bellefontaine Cemetery.
