JOE SHIELDS

Director of Development

As a native St. Louisan, Joe has a passion for history and actively engages with the community. Joe oversees fundraising, donor relations, sponsor relations, as well as business-to-business, community, and government outreach. Before taking on this role in 2022, Joe managed North American Grain Commodities Settlement for Bunge Ltd. from 2013 to 2022, and spent 15 years in technology, designing optical carrier circuits and overseeing their installation. Joe went to school at St. Charles Community College and the University of Missouri – St. Louis for Telephony and Circuit Design.
